2024 - March - April

Great-great niece turns 5, I didn't know what she is currently into but who doesn't like Minnie Mouse.  I created this card in Cricut Design space with cuts and writing.

Great nephew who is an awesome hockey player, I created this card with Cricut Design Space writing and a Penny Black stamp sentiment inside with themed paper from my stash.

Great-great nephew is turning 1, Mickey Mouse to the rescue from Cricut Design Space for both the images and writing.  Googled a verse for the inside that was written with Cricut.

Great-nephew turns 18.  Created card in Cricut Design Space for both cut outs, scoring and sentiments.

My thanks to Julie DiMatteo of the Paper Pixie for this inspiration to create these St. Patrick's Day treat boxes for my grandkids.  You can find instructions on her blog.  While hers she used See's Chocolate Coins, I found Reese's Chocolate Coins at Big Lots.  Only problem was that one package had six of the large coins and several small ones, the other package only have five.  Rather than go back and buy more, I substituted four large and two small coins in each box.

Thanks to Brenda Quintana of Qbees Quest for her Easter Treat  Boxes I created for the grandkids.  Instructions can be found on her blog.  It was a very easy and quick box to make and holds 18 Hershey Kisses. I added embellished ribbon around the box and extra embellishments to the top.  I colored with pencils, the ribbon is from Stampin Up as well as the egg stamps.

I received February's Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin kid and made these cards and treat boxes.  I did a print then cut in Cricut Design Space for the inside sentiments as well as to create the tag on bunny gift box.

I created these two cards that hold a battery operated tea light for Easter to send to two very dear people.  The design is from Dreaming Tree that I uploaded into Cricut Design Space.

I responded to a request for a cheer up card for a granddaughter of another card crafter who is 15 yrs old, a dancer who just had very serious knee surgery.  I looked in my stash of paper and found scraps of this dancer paper I had left.  I search all my idea files and created this bookbinding, circle fold card.  The dancer is and sentiment inside is a print then cut file I uploaded in Design Space.  I colored the dancer with pencils, silver pen and ink blended the background.  The ribbon is Stampin Up.

My father in law turns 97 at the end of March.  This card design is from Lori Whitlock that was uploaded into Cricut Design Space.  From there I edited to get the desired results.

One of my favorite Stampin Up Demonstrators' dog crossed the rainbow bridge back at the end of February.  I had made previous memorial ornaments when her mother and daughter's bird passed so I had to made one for her dog as well. I sent it to her for her birthday.

2024 - January - February

New Year with goal of using each of my stamp sets this year.  I start with a Four-Panel Fun Fold card I learned how to make from Dawn Griffiths of Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.  I used a scrapbook stack of papers I had in my stash to create this card for my great nephew who is turning 5 and likes Paw Patrol.  Various sentiments in the card are from Stampin Up Pretty Perennials, Charming Sentiments and Best Delivery.  I also used number die set.

These cards were created using SU Waterfront stamp set and various others.

These cards were created using SU Sending Sunshine stamp set and various embossing folders.

These cards were created using SU Welcoming Woods stamp set and oval dies.  Happy Birthday sentiment is embossed.

These cards were created using SU Pretty Perennials stamp.

These cards were created using SU On To Adventure stamp set, Spellbinders Giving Occasions stamp and dies set and oval dies. The Happy Anniversary will be for my Daughter and SIL who will be celebrating 16 years in April.  The Valentines one is for my husband, we will be celebrating 40 years.

I found a Paper Pumpkin Kit when I was looking for something else and decided to put the cards together.  I put on own twist on them of course.

I sent one of the above sympathy card along with these floating ornaments for a blogger/Stampin Up Demonstrator - Angie Juda-Chic N Scratch who I've been following since 2008.  She lost her mom and her bird very close together.

Both a co-work and a neighbor are expecting babies very soon so I created these two cards using SU All About Baby.  While I was die cutting I cut extra's of most cuts to put into my stash for next round of cards needed (since I had a strip of paper left of each design). The banners are dies and I used a dots embossing folder for the white background.

Grandson will be 11 in early February, he loves gaming.  I previously posted the pop up gift card holder box I created from a cut file I purchased from Lori Whitlock designs.  I then used the image to create his card.  Lots of fussy cutting and round punching.  The sentiment I did with the Cricut Pen.

A long time friend's daughter in law who is a teacher in Kentucky was asking for cards from all the states in the US.  I created this card with the 50 State Cartridge, a few downloaded images and designed, print then cut in Cricut Design Space.  The inside stats info I typed out in Word, printed on cardstock and cut to fit.

Two of my friends dogs passed away one day apart.  I found this cut design on Dreaming Tree, I made some modification of my own, added a couple of Stampin Up stamps and embellishments.  One is larger than the other.  I resized the smaller one to be more of standard 5.5" x 4.25" card.  Papers are from my stash, Lawn Fawn and Stamping Up.
